MY STORY
I spent the first half of my career as an educator, principal, and consultant—developing talent, leading organizations, and advocating for those whose voices weren't being heard. I was good at what I did. I was also running on patterns I didn't yet understand.
Like many high-achievers, I built success on a foundation of proving myself, pushing through, and staying hypervigilant. It worked—until it didn't. When the cost of those patterns finally became clear, I had a choice: keep performing the same way, or do the deeper work to understand why I led the way I did.
That turning point changed everything. I discovered that many of the behaviors that had driven my success—perfectionism, over-responsibility, difficulty trusting others—were rooted in early experiences of having to be vigilant to be safe. Once I understood the "why" behind my patterns, I could choose differently. I could lead powerfully without exhausting myself. I could build authentic relationships. I could stop proving and start performing from a place of genuine confidence.
This journey led me to become a Trauma-Informed Executive Coach. I now know that many driven professionals carry similar patterns—shaped by experiences that taught them to achieve despite adversity, to stay hyper-alert, to never let their guard down. These patterns create success, but they also create burnout, strained relationships, and the persistent feeling of "never enough."
My work is about helping ambitious leaders keep their edge while releasing what no longer serves them. Not because they're broken, but because they're ready for sustainable excellence.
I'm Anastasia, and I help executives transform how they lead—so they can achieve more while carrying less.
